Social Media 2

I am writing about businesses and their use of social media. Many businesses decided to create pages online on websites like Facebook and Twitter because their competition had a social networking site for their company. Most businesses did not think twice about what these social networking sites could actually do or should do to benefit their business. Eventually businesses started to find people who could better market their company. The people that these businesses found started to fully utilize these social networking sites that had been previously used for such things as keep online versions of company material which was also accessible in house as well. Most companies today are taking full advantage of social media and all of its capacities. Some companies allow people to get updates from their social networking sites in the comfort of their own home instead of having to stop by the company.
Every company has their own needs and goals. Not every company is appealing to the same audience. Sometimes companies may try to model their marketing strategy on their competitor but they may not be appealing to the same crowd as your company. They may not be sending the same message as you either. Modeling your companies social networking site toward another companies social networking site is not always the best and or smartest thing to do. Social media in the business world is key. When you learn how to use it effectively it can be the difference between your company making money or declaring bankruptcy.
